Caption glued on verso.Maurice "Footsie" Britt (June 29, 1919-November 26, 1995) graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1941 with a degree in journalism. While at college he was in the Sigma Chi fraternity and became the sports editor for the Arkansas Traveler, and was also a successful college basketball player and football player. He later played professional football with the Detroit Lions for one season, then entered the United States Army in December 1941. He received the Medal of Honor in 1944.
